How to get free tickets
- Go to BridalShowsDC.com and find the Washington Bridal & Wedding Expo.
- Register for a free pass — enter your name and email, save the confirmation.
- Bring your pass (phone is fine) + ID if the organizer asks.
- Arrive early — doors at noon, fashion shows and giveaways draw crowds.
Do not buy from resellers. The organizer lists free passes on its own site. If a page asks you to pay for a "general" pass for this expo, stop and re-check BridalShowsDC.com.
What you will see at the expo
Per the organizer, the expo features wedding professionals to help you find the perfect gown, reception venue, invitations, photographer, music, menu, honeymoon destination, and much more — plus bridal fashion shows, live DJ demos, prizes and giveaways.
- Gowns & fashion: See dresses in person, not just on a screen. Note designers you love, then ask about fittings and timelines.
- Venues: Compare ballrooms, historic estates, waterfront, and barns in one afternoon. Ask about capacity, rain plan, and what is included.
- Photo / video / music: Watch DJ demos live. Ask photographers for full galleries, not just highlights.
- Food & cake: Taste menus and cakes. Ask about tastings, dietary options, and bar packages.
- Honeymoon & travel: Talk honeymoon timing, passports, and packages while you are there.
"Arrive calm and on time — let your chauffeur handle DC parking while you focus on finding the perfect vendors."
How to make the expo actually useful
Bring a short list, not the whole squad
Bring one or two decision-makers. A big group slows you down and makes it hard to talk to vendors. Bring a list of what you still need: venue, photographer, florist, music, dress, cake, transport.
Ask vendors the same 5 questions
- Are you available on our date?
- What is included, and what costs extra?
- What is the deposit / payment schedule / cancellation policy?
- Can we see a full recent wedding, not just highlights?
- How far in advance do we need to book?
Take photos of cards + prices
Snap every card, price sheet, and show-only discount. When you get home, you will not remember which florist was which. A 10-second photo saves a week of confusion.
Getting to the Convention Center
The Convention Center is in downtown DC at 801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW. Metro, rideshare, taxi, and pre-booked black car all work — but on expo day, pre-booked wins.
Follow signs to Hall C once inside.
- Metro: Works, but you carry bags, brochures, and swatches through stations and walks.
- Rideshare / taxi: Surge + wait times spike when the expo lets out at 5 PM.
- Panther Black Car: Fixed flat rate, no surge, flight-tracking-style punctuality, Suburban SUV up to 6. Your chauffeur waits, you walk out, you leave.
Coming from Virginia or Maryland? Tell Panther your pickup city when you book — each pickup city has its own fixed rate. Check your exact fixed rate on pantherlimo.com.
Reserve your Panther Black Car for your wedding day — we offer vehicle decoration to make your arrival truly special. Floral arrangements, ribbon and bow décor available on request. Same chauffeur, door-to-door, Suburban SUV up to 6 passengers.
After the expo: book your wedding day transport early
The best wedding vendors book out first — transport included. Panther handles:
- Wedding day: Getting ready → ceremony → photos → reception → send-off, in one Suburban, same chauffeur.
- Guest shuttles / airport pickups: Out-of-town family from IAD / DCA / BWI, fixed rates, flight tracking.
- Rehearsal + brunch: Hourly chauffeur for the full weekend, not just one ride.
